Our Products
Concrete masonry structures are as diverse as the type of concretes used. The most popular type is the one made of cement, aggregate, and water. As cement hydrates, it binds together all other elements to form solid concrete. This construction material provides strength for building such things as fences, pavements, walls, patios, driveways and so on.  Previously, concrete was known as liquid stone. Today, stabilizers and various elements are incorporated to produce the desired features.

Here are some of the types of concrete we use.
  1. Normal concrete: This is the commonest product used for various applications. It has a slump of 15mm. We use it in most home improvement projects and it is usually pre-mixed and packed in plastic bags of between 60—80 pounds. Some equipment used in its application include the wheelbarrow, trowel, hoe, and bucket. It can fall under two categories: ready mix and dry ready mix. The difference between the two is water.
  2. Tremmie concrete: It is used in casting of columns and other loads where concrete should flow into its place.
  3. Self-compacting concretes: It is a type of concrete that applies super-plasticizers which help to reduce excess fluids in the concrete. It is normally sticky and levels on itself when combined through vibrations.
  4. Pump concrete: It is made of more sand than in normal concrete. It is designed to be very smooth in order to facilitate easy pumping during application. A lot of water is added to make it wet and more cement added to reach the suitable strength.
  5. Sprayed concrete: It is also referred to as shortcrete which is compressed with air during casting and reinforced with fiber. The sprayed concrete can either be dry mix or wet mix. Wet mix is added water and pumped via hoses while dry mix consists of dry cement and aggregates which are shot with compressed air and conveyed to the site through hoses.
  6. Special concrete: This is any concrete which is designed in a special way such as the pre-pressed aerated, or lightweight concrete.
  7. Chipping: This is made for filling chipped and cracked structures.
  8. No—fines concrete: Unlike other mixtures, no—fines concrete does not contain sand. It is very porous and often referred to as washed—out concrete. Water is used in its manufacture so that minimal paste is left at the bottom during installation.
  9. Reinforced cement concrete: This is a mold of concrete wrapped in steel or iron rods designed for enormous loads. It is very versatile and can be applied in various forms of constructions.
  10. Transit mix: This is a type of concrete used in cast-in-place constructions. It is transported with trucks and big drums which prevents setting of the concrete during transit. It facilitated continuous pouring for stronger and seamless work. It is most preferred for huge projects due to its cost—effectiveness which surpasses bulk materials or ready—mix concrete. The labor cost is particularly lower than that of other types of concrete which need a lot of manpower.

The type of concrete we use depends on the kind of application at hand. Sometimes, when a large project is involved, bulk dry materials are used as they are cost effective. It also allows customization of the project to meet the special needs of construction. One disadvantage of purchasing materials in bulk is that a lot of space is required for storage.
